Saturday I hiked a five mile loop on the Auxier Ridge in the Red River Gorge. Great trail with awesome views of the gorge. Got caught in a torrential downpour near the halfway mark. Although completely soaked and having a sore left knee, it was a great time in the outdoors.
The little guy and I went out for a Sunday afternoon canoe ride at Lake Shelby. Great day to be outdoors.

The forthcoming Will Ferrell-Mark Wahlberg flick The Other Guys may yet be riddled with pot shots from film critics. Poor Ferrell and Wahlberg — on Muni, they can’t shoot back.
While the official poster for the film features a maniacal Ferrell and the menacing Wahlberg sailing through the air, guns drawn, the version on Muni vehicles and in stations features Ferrell brandishing a vial of pepper spray and Wahlberg relying upon his bare fists.
